The Starting Line at the first 5 and Dime Race in 2010

WHAT:  5-mile and 10-mile running races for the same price --  you decide mid-race which distance you're doing!    Not up to running 5 miles but still want the longer challenge? 5-mile walkers are welcome!   (Sorry, no walkers permitted for the 10-mile option.)

COST:  Register by March 20, 2011 at $22 and be guaranteed an event T-shirt! After March 20, registration is $30; shirts are first come/first served.  Kids’ Race & walking option fees below

CHECK IN:  Begins 7:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the Hatfield Township Municipal Building, 1950 School Road, Hatfield, Pa.

NEW FOR 2011:  Our Second Annual has two new features:  (1) A Kid's Race - 1/2 mile - at 8:45 AM.  Shirt and medal to all kids - just $10! (2) 1-Mile Fitness Walk - 9:05 AM.  Also includes a shirt (while supplies last) - just $10.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:  You can register for this event on race day at the event site, right up until the start of the race.  Day-of Registration is $30.  Remaining T-shirts are first come/first served.

ADDED AWARDS:  Two new ones for 2011:  (1) The first Hatfield Township resident to cross the finish line will receive a special award and have their 2012 5 & Dime race fee paid for them, compliments of Hatfield Township Commissioner Scott Brown! (2)  The first person - male and female - to break a course record wins a special award!  (records noted on ACT Management website.)  Note also that this is Race One of the three-race Hat Trick Series, so you can opt to be in the running for awards at the series level.
