Your private hauler is required to pick up these recyclable items, and a free recycling bin is available from the township to all residents. Stop by the Hatfield Township Municipal Building during office hours to receive yours. Cardboard and Yard Waste Drop-OffThird Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to noon Because most trash haulers will not collect corrugated cardboard with regular recycling, Hatfield Township offers a monthly drop-off at the Hatfield Township Public Works Building, located on the corner of Unionville Pike and Richmond Road. Residents may also drop off moderate portions of yard waste, such as leaves, garden residue, shrubbery, and tree branches (small twigs) monthly as well. Hatfield Township cannot accept grass clippings at this time. Leaf, Branch and Grass Drop-OffHatfield Township provides leaf, branch, and grass collection year round at the Lenhart Road Preservation Area. Tree limbs cannot be wider than 5" in diameter and cannot include rootballs, shrubs, tree trunks, etc. Leaves and grass clippings are accepted only in biodegradable brown paper bags, available at the Hatfield Township Municipal Building (4 bags for $1) or at the home improvement or grocery stores. Christmas Tree Drop-OffAfter the holiday season is over, bring your Christmas trees to the Hatfield Community Park and Pool. You can leave the trees in a designated area and they will get recycled. You can bring your trees as soon as December 26 until the end of January.
