Road Improvement Plan

Hatfield Township developed and completed a 10-year road improvement plan in 1999 that rebuilt and maintenanced all the Township-owned streets within the community.  Since 2010, the commissioners and staff have developed a 15-Year Road Maintenance Plan to sustain the quality of roadways within the community and avoid complete infrastructure rebuilds.  The following is a list of scheduled improvements for Fiscal Year 2012:

Roadways to be Paved:

  • Anthony Drive
  • Jodie Sue Road
  • Sharon Road
  • Karol Way
  • Bramblegate Drive
  • Briar Patch Lane
  • Brush Hollow Road
  • Hedgewood Road
  • Latch String Lane

Roadways to be Micro-Surfaced:

  • Farview Avenue
  • Bent Road
  • Winston Street
  • Elm Street
  • Gum Street
  • Rose Lane
  • Dogwood Lane
  • Werner Road
  • Oak Road
  • Beech Street
  • Peach Tree Lane

Micro-surfacing is a maintenance treatment to a roadway that is not in full need of paving, yet can have its life extended another 8-10 years.  To learn more about micro-surfacting, please click HERE
