Property Maintenance Code Task Force
The Hatfield Township Board of Commissioners has authorized the creation of a Property Maintenance Code Task Force and are looking for interested township residents to serve. If you desire to be a part of this citizen effort, please submit an expressed letter of interest (or email) to Andrew S. Haines, Township Manager at 1950 School Road; Hatfield, PA 19440 or ahaines@hatfield-township.org. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
With a want to address health, safety and welfare concerns throughout the community, the commissioners would like the residents to provide recommendations on the 2009 Property Maintenance Code. Specifically, the Board has created the following framework for the Task Force:
Mission:
As an advisory committee, review the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code (IMPC) to determine if the Code is consistent with the values of Hatfield Township. The Task Force may also submit general recommendations on property maintenance not specifically covered in the 2009 IPMC.
Scope:
Submit a report to the Hatfield Township Board of Commissioners of recommended changes and edits regarding the 2009 IMPC.
Target:
Complete a review, and a submitted recommendation report, of the 2009 IMPC by Friday, October 29, 2010; or as timely as needed.
