Paper Shredding & Recycling on April 17
As part of our Earth Day celebration, Hatfield is providing paper shredding and collecting materials for recycling such as tires and electronic waste.

Register by March 22 for Five & Dime Race on April 11
This race features a 5-mile run, 10-mile run, 5-mile family fitness walk, and free Health & Fitness Fair at Hatfield Community Park.

Hatfield Students - Apply for NPHHEA Scholarship by April 1
The North Penn Health, Hospital and Education Authority is now accepting Hatfield student applications for their annual college scholarship program.

Real Estate Tax Discount Ends March 31
Pay your real estate tax during Tax Collector Christina Murphy’s business hours from February 1 to March 31.

Scholarship Application Due April 2
High school seniors can apply for the Officer William J. Chapman Memorial Scholarship.

Homestead Tax Relief Application
Register by March 1, 2010, to be eligible for the recently passed Homestead Tax Relief.

Free Rain Water Harvesting Workshop on Tuesday, March 2
Join us at 7 p.m. at the Hatfield Township Municipal Building to learn about specific products helpful to approaching storm water management. Please call the township to pre-register.

Artisan & Heritage Fair – Sat. March 6
Join us from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hatfield Township Municipal Building for our annual showcase of the arts, trades, and skills of years gone by.

Board Meeting Postponed & Offices Closed on Wednesday, Feb. 10
The Board meeting for Wednesday, Feb. 10 has been postponed to Wednesday, Feb. 17 due to the pending snow storm. Additionally, township offices will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Hatfield Township Adopts Lost or Stolen Handgun Reporting Law
Under the new law, Hatfield gun owners will have 72 hours to report a lost or stolen firearm missing to the police, from the time the loss or theft is discovered.

Winter Weather Parking and Shoveling Regulations
In the event of a snow or ice emergency, do not park on any street or highway. Also, remember not to throw, shovel, or plow snow into community streets.

Westport Farms & THP Bankruptcy Information
Hatfield Township is close to a signed agreement with Lexon Insurance, holder of the surety bond. The road will be winterized in December with public improvements starting once there is a signed agreement, weather permiting.
