New Pet and No Smoking Rules for Township Parks

The Hatfield Township Board of Commissioners recently enacted two major changes to township park rules. The first is a no smoking rule that applies to all township parks. The second lifts the ban on dogs in most parks. Leashed dogs in the company of a guardian are allowed in all township parks except School Road Park and Schweiker Park. The Aquatic Center also remains closed to dogs other than guide dogs.
