Whale Sprayground – Babies and toddlers up to age 5 only, with adult supervision. Swimmy diapers with rubber pants over, are mandatory. Water toys are provided. Zero-Beach Entry – Water entry is level to allow access for all persons. Water access chair is available in the pool house lobby.
Fun Pool Features
Water Castle – Roughhouse play and running is not allowed. General safety rules will be strictly overseen.
Blue Otter Slide – The Otter Slide is 8 feet wide having a gentle slope that accommodates most. Up to four guest can ride together side-by-side.
Red and Orange Water Slides – The Slip and Slide is dual action, with a red flume slide and an orange tube slide. These slides are restricted to those who are 48 inches tall and above, per the PA Amusement Ride Safety Act.
Lazy River – The Lazy River is a current channel 6 feet wide and 3 feet, 6 inches deep emptying into the swirling vortex circle. Use is restricted to those who are 48 inches tall or above or who have passed the deep water swim test. Others must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Permitted use of the Lazy River by adults with young children will be announced. Aquatic Center water tubes are available.
Hydrotherapy Pool – This area is restricted to adult use only. Neither children nor infants-in-arms are allowed within or on the sides of the Hydrotherapy pool.
Fitness Pool
General use of the Fitness Pool is restricted to those persons who can swim freestyle the width of the pool and back float/tread water for at least 30 seconds (Deep water assessment test). Children age 12 and under must pass the deep water test to use the pool and its features without an adult. Yellow HAC wristbands must be worn at all times. Parents/adults may take their non-swimming children into the 4-foot area of the Fitness Pool, with the understanding that the entrance level starts at 4 feet. Reminder: Only properly fitting, coast guard approved floatation devices are allowed. Anyone using a floatation device must be accompanied at arms length by a responsible adult.
Lap Swimming ADA AccessibilityThe lifts for persons with disabilities are stationed at the edge of each pool. Use shall be under the direction of deck management. The Water Access Chair for persons with disabilities is located in the pool house lobby. ADA floatation collars are provided by the Hatfield Aquatic Center.
